It was 60 something degrees yesterday. My nose didn’t like it but the rest of me did. Now it looks like a blizzard–but I live on a wind chamber as my block is not-affectionately called by my friends.

I do love the beauty that fresh snow brings. It covers the warts, and makes everything look new. A day later the snow turns yellow and black, and it just becomes one more inconvenience.

It’s cold here today, too, but not as cold as it is up there.

It’s a warm 23c here in Auckland, New Zealand. Quite humid, but very pleasant. May pop down to the beach for a swim this afternoon.

Here in State College, PA it’s about 18F with heavy snow. It was also 60 degrees yesterday, but now it’s downright cold and the foot of slush that was there before is now solid ice underneath the new snow.

Morning, Sweet Pia. We’re socked in with fog here in San Francisco this morning. I shouldn’t be writing. Just came accross a blog hailing a 1st amendment victory. The University of Oregon lampooned a transgender student senator. They lost school financial backing, as they should. News papers are for news, not hate or ignorant Northwest Crackers to torture we special people. Like I told the University president in a letter. This sissy’s all grown up and stories like that make me want to go back to college… witha gun.

You are a bright spot, as always.
