On the phone with Lucia;
“Wanna go to uh,um, you know?’
“Sounds great. What movie do you want to see after?”
“I don’t know. What do you want to see?
“I don’t know.”
We’re playing the Marty game. If you’ve never seen Marty rent it. Your life will look incredibly exciting, and it’s one brilliant film, and look at life in the Bronx in the 1950’s.
“You’ve seen more movies than me lately, pick one.”
“Uh, lets see, you know, uh that one?”
“Oh, uh, yeah. Playing across from your building?”
“Yeah, uh, I’ll get the tickets for uh.'”
“Not too early. What about um?”
“Yes. Want to call, uh, um…’
“I don’t know. She’s become so, uh, I don’t know lately.””
“Think you’re right. Let’s call uh, um..”
“Uh, okay. Oh but he hates um, uh.”
“Then we could eat at-oh you know, that place.’
“Sounds good. I’ll call them.”
Oh best friends. You don’t even have to talk to have a conversation, plan an entire evening, and decide who will be fortunate enough to join you.
