I am going to begin every post with a plug for BiO’s  Bake Sale.  Though I will put all the info, and the very cute stickers on the side bar, it’s buy or die on Courting.   Our troops deserve armor.  They deserve to live.

Cooper is still the Queen of Courting Moderation.  Why?  We don’t dare ask ourself that question; we do believe that Cooper’s writing becomes more complex and interesting all the time.

The more we read Cooper’s blog, and comments which seem to pop up everywhere, the more we know that Cooper is and will be a force of nature.

And something we like: very few people will admit that they don’t know something or ask pointed questions for help.  Well we do so we like it.

Tonight’s The State of the Union Address, like we don’t know what he’s going to say, and yesterday was a very long computer day.  So was today actually; from nine this morning to seven thirty PM, and counting.  Actually we might watch the state of the union tomorrow morning, so our night won’t be ruined.

Tomorrow we’re installing our new desk top, with it’s very cheap 19 inch LCD monitor; very excited about that.  Our printer, scanner, fax will stay installed because we won’t be thrown off network ten times a day–it’s a pre-war Manhattan building thing, the outdoor cable frays constantly.  Now that I think about it, that makes no sense at all, but the cable company says….

Don’t understand how people can only have a laptop.  Really tried; and it’s a 14 inch sorta post LCD screen, but I like a large cordless keyboard, and mouse.  Hate cords; hope to eventually have a totally cordless house.

Don’t feel guilty for being a one person two computer house, as I don’t feel guilty for having two TV sets–one’s fifteen years old and really should be replaced, but now I can play DVD’s on the moniter.  Keep the good 27 inch flat screen Sony in the bedroom with the cable DVR.

Don’t like TV mixed with company, but there have been so many tragic events…Lucia and Little Luce slept over the night of the last Seinfeld.  They had a mouse in the house, or many; we had a Seinfeld sleep over.

The problem with playing DVD’s in the living room is that I have very few; I generally DVR everything; Lucia and I sometimes watch TV in my bed, and Rafe too.  My bed’s comfortable, and I like DVR’ing or going to an On Demand station.  So I never rent and almost never buy DVD’s–just some concert ones; and of course the complete life and times of James Spader; and Boston Legal is supposed to be on tonight–better be; I will learn more about the law of the land, and many other things.

I only have a laptop. But if you asked me a few years ago, I didn’t think I would be able to do it either.

We had to get a laptop, I was hogging the computer too much -hee hee!

Hope you did yourself a favor and didn’t stay up to hear Bush. It was just more of the same.

I can’t believe we had to miss Boston Legal for that. Acknowledged, that statement is the sort of thing I generally appall, but I can’t see how an evening at the offices of Crane, Poole, and Schmidt wouldn’t be more edifying.

Wish I lived in a one person two computer dwelling.

The best part of the State of the Union was Rex the bomb-sniffing veteran of Iraq having a seat in the House for the speech. ;)

    Best SoU quote-ish;

The part about how we show the world how strong we are through how we treat each other here with compassion.

    Huh?

    Katrina — anyone?

Reminds me of my ex. Say all the right things and most people focus on that and not the deeds.

    The bloody deeds count!

We have two laptops but they are on crutches as my son has pretty much totalled them. But they still work and get me online! As for PCs, don’t even ask me ’cause we have way too many!

Seinfeld… I miss that show! Hated the final episode though!

MY favorite SoU moment, and the very one at which I switched to TiVo’d “American Idol” was when he reassured us that the “appropriate members” of congress were kept informed of his domestic spying activities. Heaven help us.

Ummm… I have a laptop (love it…got to bed with it…have wireless internet) and we have 3 desktop computers. (my hubby is a computer geek… doesn’t look it… but he is a TOTAL nerd…) We have 6 TV’s… not by my choice… my hubby is into all the electronics. THE BIGGER THE BETTER he says. I say… yeah, that is true regarding certain things *wink, wink*
