I think Bush is not perfect, but he stands for things that I value. Oh, that is a can of worms. This country isn’t perfect either, but I wouldn’t want to live anywhere else (I mean in anywhere in the West). Hope you find your peace of mind nevertheless.

Strangely enough, though born in 1963, I come at the end of the boomer generation (I’m just that much too old for GenX). Your notes bring back memories of the Vietnam War—changes in times. I was on the cusp. You were there. Thanks for the memories, and a laugh.
