One more time.

I loved this post and can almost picture you, despite the fact that I have never seen you.
As for bio: in regard to the post above ( the one with closed comments) I'm kind of sick of the same old same old there the only people I read there are you Cranky( who I didn't know had changedhis name, and the two guys from Emboldened. When commenters are more interesested in correcting peoples spelling in the comments instead of in a private email you know they are basically selve serving little twits. It will be desolate without you.

That was entertaining.

I can picture you despite having no idea how you look.

In regard to the top post to which you shut off comments, it will be pretty boring without you but frankly I'm kind of sick of bio as it is the same pople saying the same things and correcting the spelling of others when they have nothing intelligent to add to the conversation. The only people I read there any longer for the most part are Matt the other guy from emboldened, cranky who is now someone else ( and I didn'tknow that either) and ken.

I knew what nutria was because I'm a devout Seinfeld fan.

And now I know what Lurex is. After googling it. I recognize it, but didn't know what it was called, or that it even had a name.

"Well, Pia, in life you should always take the time to meet as many people as possible."

I love that!

Anyway, I submitted by mistake. Great fun - love the whole post, family dynamics everything.
Most fitting, was how it ended. Have a great weekend!

Where to begin? From Rego Park to the Miracle Mile. The dialogue on the checkout line at Alexander's, I'm dying, laughing. Now if "so" is a Yiddish word that starts all sentences, I imagine - "awright" is also Yiddish and is a sentence unto itself. A filler if you will, to be said with the shrug of the shoulder. Oh, Pia, this was great fun - Orbach's! I used my mother's charge card and bought my first suit for work at Ohrbachs. Can't believe I admitted that. With the Kinehora, don't forget the three tooey tooey tooey's (spits). My kids were always being spit over with the Kinehora's.

I'm lucky if stores here have anything in my size. Let alone a second floor.

Morning Pia,

Before I forget, have a great weekend.

Just can't get into clothes shopping, not gonna go there, wouldn't be prudent.;)

I will say, that in my home city, Gimbels was the pinnacle of shopping pleasure, but Chicago had Marshall Fields.

And you are right, when I get a home computer Blogger is toast.
