When I surf for credits at Blog Explosion, I actually read every page I land on. To me, that is what blogging is about, not making money from running dozens of ads, not hearing what someone who is a TV talking head has to say, but the person who uses a blog to communicate their thoughts to the world in a way that was never possible before. I spend w-a-y too many hours in front of a computer monitor, but people fascinate me, and I feel enriched from being able to "hear" so many voices, so many thoughts, so many opinions. I really stopped any promotion, even something simple as Google ads, since I had my site redone by the lady that did BIO. I write when I want to and that is that. If you come by great, if not, oh well. I might be really interesting or sound like an idiot. The more and more I do it the less I care about what anyone thinks. Some people however take their new found "power" as a blogger to preach from the soap box. I wonder why these days more and more. I am more attracted to blogs like yours these days than I am to ones that want to "educate" me in what's right and wrong. There is more of a difference between a real opinion and back story of it than some fool's regurgitation of what they heard on the radio or read on some other blog. And you'd have to admit, that's a lot of what you read on a political blog, regurgitation. And that's what upsets me when I see something like Kos, Huffington or even Drudge.
