I can barely listen to "Keep Me In Your Heart" without blubbering. It is so beautiful, so poignant and means a lot to my son and me. Also, on the other topic, I too love Leaving Las Vegas and Requiem for a Dream (although "love" is probably a weird word to use for that film. It is so powerful but so disturbing, too.) I believe Warren Zevon was one of the most talented singer songwriters to come out of the California scene during the 1970's. I love his work, his voice, his words. By the way, as a big fan do you remember the album he did as the Hindu Love Gods (early 90's covered Prince's Raspberry Beret on it). Carmelita is a beautiful song. I don't have the cd but may have to go out and get it. I remember watching the making of the album (on VH1, I think), oh did I cry. But a real testament to Warren and his talents were those that came out to record on it and help him through it, quite a who's who. Excellent song choice.
