I had campaigned for him in Iowa and was with him 100% till that remark. That statement was made the night he knew he had beat Hillary in the Iowa Caucus. I felt that it was a historic day PERIOD, not just for the black Americans. I am not predjudiced but it was NOT just the Black Americans who got him where he is. The remark hurt him a lot with me.
