I like your NY descriptions of rooms.

I have family in the south and they have “Great rooms”. What is a great room? For me it would be self cleaning and full of books.

I went to an open house one day, it had a fainting room. I got a kick out of that.

I think I love it here.

That made me happier than anything in this post So glad to hear it. I watched more non-sports-related TV tonight than I have in quite awhile–Two & A Half Men and The New Adventures Of Old Christine.

Oh, and I firmly believe some smoke alarms are an entity.

Don’t be so sure it wasn’t the steam from the shower. In my brother and sister-in-law’s old house, every.single.time. I took a shower in their guest bathroom (or just about anyone took a shower in that bathroom), the smoke detectors went off. It was ridiculous.

I thought I was renting the movie Friday Night Lights one weekend and ended up with the first disk of the first season – I was totally hooked. When I finally watched the movie I was very disappointed. The show is great, the movie not-so-much.
