Being a lowly administrative assistant in the operations division, my windows only looked out to Brooklyn (the boardroom & executives all looked out across New York Harbor). Even with the mere East River/Brooklyn view, though, it was a wonder I ever got any work done - watching the weather from up there was hypnotic. In the summer, watching thunderstorms go sweeping away across Brooklyn; in the winter, watching the ice floes travel with the tides. The mall was a generally little too rich for my salary, but I do remember one time when one of my coworkers & I got to talking about these chocolate-covered strawberries - strawberries the size of Macintosh apples - they had in the window at Godiva...
