Obama’s victory speech was the greatest speech of my lifetime. By the end, there were tears in my eyes, and I’m still not entirely sure why.

I am hoping change for the better although that 8/6/01 memo should had been given over 1/20/01. I don’t know that 1 month would have been enough time especially since everone was against the Patriot Act and those guy were in the US for 10 years prior already training.

it looks good for Obama–i know, I wasn’t safe as I only today (after I voted) admited who I was voting for (although most people could have figured it out as some of my early posts were anti-Bush satires.

holding breath…fingers crossed…going to clean house & listen to NPR…

I’ve never waited in such a line to vote, but everybody was excited, happy & quite content to wait to cast their vote.

All for Obama, of course!

I got home a couple of hours ago from driving miss daisy’s to the polls. I didn’t tur on the news until an hour ago. I can’t bear to watch it so I’m going to eat dinner with friends here at my place and drink beer – something I rarely do ( beer that is).
I’m sure I’ll be drawn to the computer on and off.

The networks calling PA for Obama five seconds after the polls closed gets me kind of nervous.
