As Destiny doesn’t come calling

Allied Interstate

Every weekday morning between 11:30 and 11:50 I get a call from Allied Interstate saying “call this number immediately. There are many times I’m not home or have the ring turned off. They don’t leave messages.

I have included a link to the entire search since there were so many fascinating documents and two specific cases.

The pre-recorded message doesn’t say “in accordance with federal law…” My phone numbers have been registered with the federal “do not call,” since they began.

They quickly give a number, once, and don’t repeat it. Took me four days to get down the whole number, then I got a fax machine. Their number reads private I have a phone company trace on the number. Apparently they have a history of playing dirty. I don’t.

I pay my bills on time and in full. That’s probably my biggest or proudest accomplishment in life. Sad I know. Other people have their children, I have my credit rating. Or do I? Have to get credit reports.

It began with my ac fiasco, see numerous posts. I only heard the word Allied for the first ten times. My land phone does get much static. I assumed that it was about the shipping.

If I owe money, I would like to know. They haven’t sent any letters. I don’t want my credit ruined because I might owe ten dollars to somebody for something that I’m not aware of. If I do I would love to pay it.

I also think making calls using a private number and giving a number to call–said fast–and never leaving a message is harassment. I don’t take to being harassed well over the one thing that I’m maniacal about.

I finally Googled Allied .

A hundred different scenarios are running through my head and they all involve Allied attaching all my resources when they never even sent me a regular mail letter, nor a certified one. Their number shouldn’t be allowed to be “private.” They should repeat the phone number. They’re making this very difficult for me, and I like life to be easy. That’s one of the reasons I pay my frigging bills on time and in full.

This is much worse than spam. This is my mental health and my credit. Really don’t want to spend July 4th weekend thinking about horrible scenarios. So Allied, call me, with a non-private number and tell me what you want. One more “private” call from you and I will file a complaint with the police.

Re: your comments about 9/11 — at the time, we were living downtown, near the NYSE. A photo from one of the towers settled onto our terrace. Its a snapshot of a Japanese mother holding her daughter, with a pretty flower garden as a backdrop. The edges were burned, it was covered in gray dust, and was buried under paperwork from Fuji Bank, which had offices in WTC 2.

I spent six months trying to find the person who might own it, if he/she survived, or, if not, of the family. I’ll try again in August or September, the fifth anniversary, maybe with some help from CNN.

Very sad. And, now knowing the terrible loss you suffered soon after, it must have been a very difficult time for you.

Ah, nothing like sneaky telemarketers who completely ignore the DNC listing.

Lord, I wish I’d put half a brain to est. good credit while I was younger. I have a Mercedes worth of student debt (spent this weekend figuring out how to deal with that pesky credit card crap and hunting for a better refinancing option.)

  4. sage Says:

It sounds like a scam and if you can find someone to take your complaint, that sounds like the way to go! I hate telemarketers and I never call anyone back that I don’t know who they are and certainly never call back a computer generated voicemail. Too many people out there fishing for information.

Oh My… I always hate it when I pick up the phone when a “Private” or “Unknown Name” call… I say “Hello, Hello, Hello”… and there is brief silence… then a recording comes on and says… “Please stay on the line for a very important message.”… UHHHHHH! I always hang up… so annoying!

And as for the Bitch screaming at you… some people are crazy…

Oh my gosh! I’ve recently been getting similar calls from Allied on my cell! I never give my cell to businesses! How did they get it?They call, don’t leave msg and continue to call!! I get about 8 calls a day. I finally tried googling today and that’s how I found this site….along with many sites about dirty lawsuits against their harrassing ways! I certainly do not want to talk to anyone so they can waste my time ~ I want an email address so I can handle it that way. Are you still getting calls? What are you doing about it. I have the same frustrations………..!!!!!!!!!!!
    I appreciate any advice….Shorty

I just found you through a google search. Allied has been calling me every morning for two weeks now. I don’t even have to set my alarm anymore!

I do telemarketing, but I don’t do high-pressure bullshit scams. I don’t even use a headset and computer!

Anyway… if you record the high pitched three tone noise that the phone company gives you when you dial an inactive number and play it at the beggining of your call then Allied should stop calling.

Those big, pushy telemarketers don’t usually dial the phones themselves. When the computer systems that dial for them hear the three tone ring they purge your number from their list.

Hope this helps. Bye bye. =)

Wow, I just ran a Google search too b/c they called my cell and I found this blog. WTF is going on? I didn’t get their number and I’m afraid to call them back. Lol. I have been getting phone calls from a collection agency for BMG Music Club telling me i owe $25.Of course, I can’t understand a damn thing they are saying b/c they are Indian. I wonder what’s going on. Anyone else have the number?

Saw you in a google search. I just wanted to say that Allied called my house this evening with the pre-recorded message. The telephone number came up on caller id but not the name. They said the telephone number at the beginning and the end of the message. I’m surprised they would use different messages for different people.

I just got my landline hooked up a couple days ago and got that automated BS just a few minutes ago. Like everyone else, I googled it and got this site.

I have a feeling the person who had my number last spread her legs as far as giving out her phone number. Now I have the joy of dealing with it.

Or maybe it’s SBC doing this to sucker me into getting caller ID and all the other stuff. I know I’m not going to waste my time calling these morons back. I don’t need the trouble of dealing with a bunch of rude jackasses.

So glad I found this site. Okay for the past few weeks I’ve been getting numerous calls from them…about 8 calls A DAY! YUP, that’s right about 8 calls a DAY!! This includes the weekends. They’re freaken crazy. They accuse my dad of not paying his Capitol One card when my dad doesn’t even have a credit card. When we tried telling them this, they called us liars. They’re really rude!! I’ve asked them many times to send us the statement and they refused! Ahh…is there something we can do about this?

SAME here as all the above. Getting up to 5 calls a day. I just ignore the phone…not answering anyone like that. But my hubby answered today & asked who they were looking for. It pissed him off they called on SUNDAY at 8:05 AM (his ONLY day off). They said my first name. He said “I take care of her business, what do you want”. The woman said “Let me check my list for your name (he didn’t GIVE her a name lol)” then quickly said “No your name isn’t on here”. He said “Then stop friggin calling here”. It won’t do any good, another “few calls” tomorrow. I found in another forum on this bogun company that they buy old debts up to 20 years old. The statue of limitations is 14 years, if that tells you anything. They won’t send you any mail I am read also. What the moderator said to do is send a CERTIFIED letter, getting a return receipt, send a CEASE COMMUNICATIONS letter to them & wait for your return notification. Once you have that, plus a copy of the letter to cease communications, you can NOT be (successfully) sued for any debt they claim (or threaten you with) to have. (Addy I found for them is: Allied Interstate, PO BOX 1962, Southgate Michigan 48195) AND if by chance they were to send you a letter, do NOT open it. Put on the letter “Not at this address” and put it back in the mailbox. ANOTHER scary thing to me is they DO have a legit(appears so anyways) website: http://www.irmc.com/ushome/index.cfm Problem I see here is, ok that takes care of the legal part (were they TO have some that are legit debts)…but what do you do about STOPPING THE DAMN PHONE CALLS! UGH!!! Kimmi

  17. TandS Says:
    17

To stop the phone calls from Allied; do what I did -Change your phone number and make it unlisted. Haven’t gotten a call from them since!

  18. Kimmi Says:
    18

I live with someone who has had this phone number for YEARS. They refuse to change it just because of this issue and I understand that. And they don’t want it unlisted either. In the phonebook it does NOT list the address here but does have the name and phone number. SO I don’t know what the answer is. Actually last week was WAY less calls and NO calls this weekend at all. MAYBE they decided to stop calling after his answers to their questions. I HOPE SO. Kimmi

My wife had a credit card that was turned over to Allied Interstate for collection. They have called, on average, three times a day. The first two are usually calls where the automatic dialer disconnects the call instead of transferring it! Highly annoying!
I decided to do a Google search on them. I was very surprised when the very first listing was with the Minnesota State Attorney General’s Office (MN AGO)! Very interesting reading!
As it turns out, they are suppose to send out letters at the very beginning of the collection process and they repeatedly don’t do that…that is the first bullet point made in the lawsuit filed by the MN AGO! Today when they called, I informed them that we had not received any correspondence from them and the person from Allied couldn’t find any documentation that letters had been sent.
He said that he couldn’t discuss this with me because of privacy issues, which I understand (my wife told them they could talk to her husband and they conveniently forgot to record my name).
I told him that since they didn’t send us any letter indicating they have been assigned to collect a debt, the phone calls should stop until they do send us a formal letter. I also told them that because they didn’t send a letter, how do we know this isn’t a scam?
He said he would look into why a letter wasn’t sent (since it is required by MN State Law) and would be calling back later this evening when my wife is home. It will be interesting to hear what he has to say!
I also told him that I have no problems of reporting them to the MN AGO for violating state law again.
    Thanks for letting me vent!!!!

hmmmm, your stories sound familiar. I recieved a call from allied about a direct tv account (that i never had) with an address in Chicago. Well, since i live in NY, i corrected them and they apologized and said they would not call again. Well they never called, but they promptly reported it to the credit bureau. I saw it on my credit report as i was refinancing my house, so i called them back and reminded them of our previous conversation. turns out, someone in chicago had my name and social security # and was only beginning to drag my good name through the mud. dont ignore their calls reguarding unpaid bills!!! it could be an identity theft, get as much info as you can from them and you may be able to stop the madness early, before it hits your credit.

In reference to your issues with Allied Interstate, they started calling me about 2 years ago in an attempt to collect on a credit account that I had defaulted & were so rude & unwilling to work with me, as well the man released my personal information to my mother AND a lady I worked with at the time. He would repeatedly call my place of employment & accuse the operator of “being my friend & covering for me” each time she advised that I wasn’t at work. After I threatened to sue for violation of my privacy rights, I didn’t hear from them again until just the other day. It is the same man as before. He calls my cell number at least 2-3 times a day & my place of employment, which he has been advised not to call. TO THIS DAY, I still have yet to receive any formal correspondence via mail.

I have a girlfriend who has lost 3 jobs because of them constantly calling her place of empoyment, they’ve been known to call her boyfriends cell phone, no one knows how they got that number, it was his work phone. They have called different family members of hers to try to bully them into making her contact them.

I told her they were worse than any stalker I’ve ever heard of.

I FIRST DEALT WITH ALLIED INTERSTATE LAST YEAR. I SET UP A PAYMENT TO COME OUT OF MY ACCOUNT EVERY MONTH AND THINGS WERE GOING FINE UNTIL I LOST MY DEBIT CARD AND HAD TO GET A NEW NUMBER. I CHANGED EVERYONE WHO I COULD CONTACT BUT I COULD NOT FIND A NUMBER FOR ALLIED INTERSTATE AND DID NOT HAVE ANY MAIL FROM THEM. AFTER IT GOT 2 MONTHS BEHIND THEY FINALLY CALLED ME AND I GAVE THEM MY NEW NUMBER AND DID NOT THINK ANY MORE ABOUT IT. AFTER A MONTH OR SO THEY CALLED TO TELL ME THEY COULD NOT GET IT TO GO THRU. I TOLD HER THAT WAS STRANGE SINCE NO ONE ELSE HAD BEEN HAVING ANY PROBLEMS. I CHANGED IT TO MY CHECKING ACCOUNT NUMBER. THEY CALLED TO TELL ME THAT IT WOULD NOT GO THRU. BY THEN I WAS BEGINNING TO WONDER WHAT THEIR PROBLEM WAS. I CANCELED THE AUTOMATIC PAYMENTS AND TOLD THEM I WOULD MAIL THEM A PAYMENT EVERY MONTH. I WROTE THE CHECK AND WAITED UNTIL I COULD GET PAID TO MAIL IT. BEFORE I COULD MAIL IT THEY HIT MY ACCOUNT 3 TIMES FOR $50 A POP. SINCE I DID NOT HAVE ENOUGH MONEY IN MY ACCOUNT AT THAT POINT IT COST ME THE $150 PLUS 6 CHARGES OF $32 EACH, 3 FOR THE ALLIED INTERSTATE PART AND 3 FOR THE BANK THAT ACTUALLY DOES THE WITHDRAWALS. SILLY ME, I DID NOT CALL THEM THINKING THAT MAYBE THEY HAD FIGURED OUT WHAT WAS WRONG AND I DID NOT MAIL THE CHECK. WELL, NEXT MONTH THEY HIT MY ACCOUNT 2 MORE TIMES WHEN I WAS NOT EXPECTING IT AND IT COSTED ME $100 PLUS 4 MORE $32 CHARGES FOR A TOTAL OF $320. I CALLED THEM AND WAS APPOLIGIZED TO PROFUSELY AND WAS TOLD BY PHYLLIS THAT IT WOULD BE TAKEN CARE OF AND I SHOULD GET THE $320 BACK. THAT WAS IN JANUARY OF THIS YEAR. I DID NOT HEAR FROM THEM FOR A COUPLE OF MONTHS AND THAT WAS TO TRY TO GET ME TO PAY THE $600 I OWE EMORY. THEY CONVENIENTLY FORGOT ABOUT THE $320. I WAS CONNECTED WITH SOMEONE ELSE WHO WAS GOING TO TAKE CARE OF IT. I SENT ALL THE DOCUMENTS THAT THEY ASKED FOR AND WAITED. WELL IT BOUNCES BACK AND FORTH BETWEEN WHOEVER IS SUPPOSED TO BE FINDING OUT ABOUT WHAT IS BEING DONE ABOUT IT AND PHYLLIS. I HEAR FROM THEM ABOUT EVERY 2 MONTHS BUT ONLY TO TRY TO GET ME TO PAY THEM THE EMORY BILL. I WILL NOT PAY THEM A DIME UNTIL I GET MY MONEY BACK THAT THEY COSTED ME. THEY WERE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE TAKING ANYTHING OUT OF MY ACCOUNT SINCE WE HAD AGREED THAT I WOULD MAIL THE PAYMENTS IN TO THEM. I GOT A CALL FROM PHYLLIS AGAIN THIS MORNING TO TRY TO GET THE $600 AGAIN AND I TOLD HER AGAIN THAT I WANT MY $320 BACK AND THEN I WILL PAY. NATURALLY I WAS TOLD I WOULD HEAR FROM SOMEONE SOON. AM I ASKING TOO MUCH TO BE REIMBURSED FOR THE CHARGES THEY CAUSED ME? I DON’T THINK SO.

The message was simply “call A.I. immediately at #” …click.
No please, thank you etc. and they didn’t even bother to identify who they were calling and I don’t owe anyone other than my standard monthly bills all of whom I deal with directly. I don’t waste my time calling back rude cryptic messages.
I’m also on the DNC list and if they happen to call while I’m home I will take down the rep’s name and advise them that if they call me again I will report it and apply for a DNC fine against them.

Sheesh! I did a search on these bozo’s and found this site. Someone called at work and left a message to call them back without stating who they were so I called them back and GUESS WHO? In my case, I am pretty sure I owe a debt but I explained to them that I had never received a letter from them and that before I was going to pay anything to anyone I wanted to see something in writing. In Cora’s own words…”we ain’t sendin’ you no other bill cause you didn’t pay *soandso* in the first place” I told them I had moved in the past 8 months, have dealt with my girlfriend’s ex-husband stealing our mail, redirecting our mail, etc and that I have NEVER EVER received anything from this Allied at all! She once again said “we ain’t sendin’ no other bill and that’s that”. I then explained to her (in a profane way) that I have 20 webpages of complaints against her company and I will be damned if I am giving someone my bank account number without something in writing from them. She then went on to tell me “well if you think you are sooo damn smart with your webpages and complaints against us just wait til you see your credit report after this call”. I WENT OFF ON THE BEATCH!! She hung up on me so I called her right back and she hung up on me. I called right back and got her and aksed for her supervisor (which answered this time) and told her that I didn’t appreciate this Cora BEATCH and I better get a letter sent from them or I wasn’t doing dick and am going to file a harrassment complaint. She agreed to send me a new statement (my first to my knowledge)and then she said I didn’t have to be so rude!! I told her I wouldn’t have been rude if Cora wasn’t such a BEATCH in the first place. I called corporate headquarters and got their voicemail (of course) and lodged a complaint against Cora and her Supervisor. I dare them to call em again! :)

I get a voice message that is from a “robot” saying Please call Allied Interstate regarding a death at 888-808-5092. The caller id number is 1-000-000-0000.. so I normally don’t answer calls from strange numbers like that..

I’ve done google seacrhs and find ALLIED Interstate, but non with the number I have been given.. ANYBODY have this? I have continued to ignore this.. I DO NOT GIVE OUT MY CELL to just anyone - so HOW did they get it?? Only a few close relatives have the number - so I KNOW THEY HAVE NOT DIED.. SO sounds fishy to me!

They called in on my wife’s cell phone, which we have never use to conduct business. No calls on our listed home phone. No letters. It’s been a year since I checked my credit reports, so I’ll make sure to do that again soon, since we have no debt and I don’t want to be accused of having anybody else’s!

The man on the phone gave me my ex-mother-in-laws address,so I said , this is FRAUD! I told the man on the phone that I have been divorsed for over a year and that we were not on good terms. He said no problem, but you will need to file charges aginst her. I’ll tell my supervisor to send you the paperwork to take to the police. NEVER RECEIVED ANYTHING! Oh except more phone calls about my CAPITOL ONE CREDIT CARD that I DONT HAVE! Everytime they call I try to tell them this is FRAUD, and I’m waiting on them to send me a bill or a statement to take to the police, and STILL NOTHING! This latest CLOWN that called me said he was a supervisor and I was RUDE to one of his people. I told him, you people must not talk to one another because nobody knows what the HELL they’re talking about when they call. The CLOWN said well I guess we’ll have to persue this matter in court. I’ve been getting phone calls from these people from multiple numbers. They don’t leave any messages, and I’ve tried calling back once and all I got was a “This call is being recorded for training purposes” or something like that. From what I can tell, they’re training people on how to be the rudest ever!
I’ve not done any dealings with them, but I’m planning on changing my phone number because of it. I’ve never gotten anything that would bring me into debt! I still live with my parents for crying out loud! The only thing I have is my debit card, and I’m in good standing with my bank. So if I find out these people have done anything to my credit report, I’m definitely making some calls to the proper people and letting them know there is a company creating doing these kinds of things to a lot of people.

I came across your blog after finally calling the 800 # for “Agent Heidelman”, just to make sure it wasn’t an ACTUAL agent for someone like the IRS (although I would think someone legit would (1) identify the agency for whom they represent and (2) not have you call back on a toll-free number).

So, Allied Interstate. They call me 3-5 times a day, as well. Pretty much the same thing as the above posts, yet I’ve never received a piece of mail from them. Sounds pretty bogus. Thanks to your blog, and I’m sorry about your mom. :)

Per our conversation this morning, I am writing to formally dispute the eleven years old billing at Saks Department Store, for which you have repeated contacted me.

I do not owe the amount that you requested, nor have I ever been contacted by Saks Department Store to inform me of any overdue payment.

I’m registered in the “do not call” registry. Is there somthing I can do about it for them not to call anymore? As of today I only recived one call, but guess what? I don;t wanna her from them anymore. I don;t owe money to anybody.

Hi, Thanks for this site. I had a student loan for college that was put on permanent default due to a physical disability. (the job for the schooling required physical work to which I can no longer do) The federal department that handles student loans refuses to send proper paperwork to dismiss the loan due to the disability. They would rather keep selling the debt to collection agencies. It’s hard to fight this when a lawyer and court will cost as much as the d*&^ loan. Anyway, Allied also uses other tactics and names; they will leave a message stating that they have a package and ID # and that you need to contact them regarding this package. Also, they have started calling from an area code of 971 - which has real names added to it hoping I will answer. The names so far have been Chris Mathiasen and Shyla Mouser. Also, these numbers are strange too and probably belong to the same company, they start with 801 - Perteet Nichele and Octavio R.

This is getting so bad with collection agencies, I saw a news show last night that they are actually making a documentary about them and their tactics.

    Keep fighting!

    Hello,

I have a different problem with these people. I had a $56 electric bill that I was unaware of (moved three times in the last 12 months), and therefore didn’t know I was even sent to collections until I applied for a home loan. I paid the amount in full, and needed a letter faxed to my lender proving the payment. Low and behold, they won’t send the letter. I’ve called numerous times, and get a different excuse each time. I finally asked to speak to the supervisor (Mark something), and he verbally assaulted me, saying that I was the one deliquent on my bill, so I will just have to wait until they get around to sending the letter. Well, my house is supposed to close in seven days, and the loan process is still waiting on this letter being faxed.

    What can I do?

The big questions are why does Allied do this?

How can they buy old paid debts?

Why is Allied allowed to get away with talking to a second party about a first?

Why won’t the give addresses for Allied?

Why when they call is their number blocked?

Obviously they don’t want people to call them back as the number they left me was said too fast to copy

I purchased a cell phone for my teenage son, for safety reasons and too ease my mind now he is driving….but Allied InterState is now texting messages. My 17 year old son got one that made him sound like he was in debt and needed to contact them ASAP. I called them and they refused to speak to me “only the owner of the phone”, and they had his name! I purchased the phone under my plan, how they got his name I will never know, because they refuse to speak to me! The BBB was of no help. Real Shifty!

I have been receiving daily (sometimes twice daily) from Allied. I didn’t have a clue who they were until they finally left a message that they were calling about a debt. Well, I called and found out it is an amount I owe, but small. The woman said I could either give a debit, credit card, or checking account information over the phone. I explained I didn’t feel comfortable doing that and I didn’t have the info handy anyways. She said I had to pay them right away and she’d hold while I got the info, stating that I should be comfortable with giving my credit or debit card info, at least (yeah, right!) and that she would be there for another 1 1/2 hours (it was already 9:45!). I told her I could not give it to her at all today. She was rude and acted like today was the end of the line .. I pay it now or never .. I told her I wasn’t going to do it today and stood my ground. Now really, if I didn’t call her back yesterday, it would have to wait, right?

So, not understanding these companies, they in fact ‘bought’ my debt, right?? It’s only a $33 and change bill, but I would love to just send them a check and be done with it! Has anybody sent them money and really got them off their back? I’ll do that in a heartbeat if it’ll work!!!

    Nancy

First of all Allied Int. is a collection agency and the do not call list applies to telemarketers only. 2nd if you want them to stop calling then you need to advise them that the number they are calling is wrong and they should remove it. I had them calling me and advised it was wrong and they took it out. It also showed my cell number several times in the sysytem since there was someone who didnt pay their bills that had my number before me.

A Tom Resch called on May 14 another office of the company I work for, asking for me. I’ve never worked there nor would I know the number to give out to anyone. The lady who answered the phone took down the number and said she’d relay it, but told him that I didn’t work there. I called after getting her message and got Allied Interstate’s after-hours recording. Resch didn’t say who he was with or why he called, of course. A quick web search today brought me to this blog and other negative reports on Allied Interstate’s practices. The number Resch gave was 866-396-7765, which doesn’t show up in any searches or 800-number directories.

Getting the calls from Allied too for the last 2 weeks, every day…….You are right about you don’t have to set your alarm anymore!. My husband did a good one!. He recorded on our answering machine: “Hello Allied, we have been expecting your call, you need to learn how to pronounce my name properly. At the sound of the fart, leave your message and we MAY call you back”. (Sound of a large fart follows)….lol. Too funny, have had it on our machine 3 days, they just hang up now!

To All: The only way to stop Allied Interstate from calling you is to get a new, unlisted telephone number.

Allied Interstate is just a computer program backed up by several hundred idiots manning the phones. Their entire business strategy is simply to deny you the effective use of your telephone until you send them money. It makes no difference to them if you never owed any money, or already paid, or will never pay. They don’t even care if you are the right person. You can threaten them all you want, send them stupid letters, beg them to stop calling—whatever. But they will not stop. This is so because their cost per call is only a few cents, much, much less than the cost of a postage stamp.

The bottom line is this: Once Allied Interstate gets your telephone number, your telephone service is shot.

Allied Interstate will keep calling you for about two months. After two months, you will probably get two months off, and then the cycle will begin again. However, if you have nothing better to do, and you want to have a little fun, the best way to deal with Allied Interstate calls is to keep the caller on the telephone as long as possible. But first, understand how they work

These idiots work from a script. If at any point in the script you give a wrong answer or refuse to answer, they will hang up. For example, if they begin by saying, “Hello, is John there?” and you say “no.” They will hang up pretty quickly. (They have wasted only about 10 seconds.) If you say, “This is John,” then they will move down the script and say, “Is this Joe Doe?” If you say, “No such person lives here,” they will hang up. (They have wasted only about 15 seconds.) If you say “yes,” then they will move down the script and start the verification game, where they say they want to make sure they have the right John Doe and will ask you to verify the last four digits of your Social Security Number or your birth date. If you refuse to play along, they will hang up. (They have wasted only about 30 seconds.) If you go along with their script up to this point, they will tell you why they are calling. If you tell them to go to hell, that you will never pay them a dime, they will likely threaten to garnishment your pay or ruin your credit, usually, and then hang up. (Note: They would not be calling you if they could get your money by some legal action. They are calling you because they have no other hope.)

A long telephone conversation with Allied Interstate is 60 seconds—if you do not cooperate with them. But if you show any sign of weakness whatsoever, or if you try to fake them out by playing dumb or something, they will stay on the telephone with you and try to get you to send them money. (Note: They have heard every possible excuse and lie. So do not bother trying to reason with them or trying to fool them.)

The best way to deal with Allied Interstate callers is to WASTE THEIR TIME. You do this by putting them on “hold.” Answer the phone, ask them to hold, then lay the phone aside and walk away. If you want to add a special touch, lay the phone down by your computer speakers and play them some tunes. After a minute, turn the music off, and ask if they are still holding. If so, apologize for the delay and put them on “hold” again. Eventually, they will figure out they have been had and hang up. But you will have burned them for two or three minutes or more, which increases their costs and puts them behind on the stack of calls they have queued up in front of them.

The only other thing you can do is get a new, unlisted telephone number.

If your going to send cease and dissist letters I’d send it to all these adreesses return receipt. May be expensive but worth it.

Also, the Minnesota AG sued Allied for unfair collection practices in that state. Allied settled with the agreement that if they are informed orally that the debt is not owed by the person they are calling they will stop calling. If they don’t follow their settled agreement call your AG and inform them that Allied is not adhereing to the settled agreement.

They harass the old the disabled and anyone who wants to answer their phone. The company has been sued over and over again. They are very successful so they don’t care. Pa_guy — don’t worry about the garnishment of wages by tomorrow… The law is a little different in each state but here in Minnesota where I am from you can’t just garnish wages without your knowledge. They can threaten you with that, and then they have to do a lot of paperwork. They have to get a writ of execution from the sheriff’s office, and then send a letter to your HR people, which they have to respond to within X amount of days or weeks, and you will receive a letter to. They cannot do that without that.

I am a landlord and have had to do that with one of my tenants before. it was a dreadful process that I had to go to before I could garnish his wages (even then I wasn’t able to because of stupid crap) so it is VERY hard for them to actually go through with it.

Don’t worry so much. I know you wrote that a few weeks ago so I hope things are better for you now.

Breast Enhancement - Enhance Your Bust Size Naturally
Women are always concern about beauty and physical appearance. Breast size is one factor that affects the physical appearance of most women. Women with big breasts are always regarded as sexy and adorable. In today’s modern world women are more open to take the necessary steps to improve their appearance. If you are not satisfied with your breast size, there are ways on how to enhance your bust size and increase your self confidence.

If you have small bust size, you are often the subject of teasing leading to low self-esteem. You feel insecure and do not feel good about yourself. The good news is that you do not have to feel bad about yourself and suffer all those teasing because you can do something to enhance your bust size.

Although breast enhancement surgery or breast implants is a very common cosmetic surgery now, this is not the only way to enhance your bust size. Before taking the drastic steps of surgery which could have irreversible side effects, it is an option to try other methods to enhance bust size naturally.
