I’m linking to Moxiegrrl’s post on the White House press briefing this morning, with many added extras. Knowing less than zilch about podcasts I originally linked to the wrong site. Ick. Here’s Cranky and Dr. Forbush’s podcast
I’m again linking back to my post at Bring it on!
Anybody who wants to see me at my angriest can see it there. And read the incredibly stupid comment about how we at Bring it on! don’t understand other, and he explains how Newsweek cleared Rove in his blog–well you have to go to his blog to see that, and damn if I know how you follow that logic.
Really love this country and everything that it stands for, or stood for.
Even Richard Nixon knew when he was defeated.
What does a Constitution mean when the person who calls himself president and his staff don’t think it applies to them?
Thankfully the more thinking press people won’t let them get away with it.
I don’t want this blog to be about politics and anger. I like writing other stuff so much more
Right now I’m ready to start a blogs for Valerie movement. Never thought it would be Democrats who would defend a CIA agent. Never thought that I would define myself as a Democrat.
Before I began blogging I had no idea how many idiots there are in this country; and who are ready to defend their stances past the point of
twisted logic.
Never thought that I would be proud to say that The New York Times is my home town newspaper. Am not going to link to Bob Herbert’s piece on Bush doing a skit about looking for WMD’s that don’t exist–and yet we’re still in Iraq. Why are we still sending soldiers there? Just realized that it us who disdain the war who really truly support the troops because we want them home safe where they belong.
Looking for Bin Laden might be acceptable, but we just can’t find him, can we? Funny how the Bin Laden family were the only people allowed to fly after 9/11. They might truly hate Osama, but you know the expression “blood is thicker than water?” Maybe it applies.
Not going to link only because my computer is as anry as I am, and is overheated.
Our anger is only surpassed by how much we really love America, The Consitution, The Bill of Rights and everything that they stand for.
“What does a Constitution mean when the person who calls himself president and his staff don’t think it applies to them?”
IN the UK, the prime minster (as i understand it) is above the law (erm, if indeed you can be, I am realising this argument might be completely RUBBISH and I might have no idea what I am talking about)
Anyway, I *think* The PM and indeed Parliament, is above the law, or *before* the law, as they pass the law.. Of course thet don’t really *have* a constitution over here, so not sure how that works.. would be itneresting to look into anwyay…
sorry, this was probably a waste of your time..
we’re going back and forth here, but wanted you to see my comment to you over at mine:
As I said i don’t know (I never studies politics!)and now i worry i might have given you the wrong idea…!!
I need to look it up and get back to you..
