Impeach Bush; it's the least you can do

September 10, 2005 By pia

Impeach Bush join the coalition to impeach Bush. As blogger’s we have a say. Use it!

And watch Cranky’s video

yeah, I want to be entertained also. More than that I want a return to moral values, the real ones. Tomorrow is 9/11; I used to think that was the saddest day in American history; now something even sadder and more horrific happened. Bush firing Brown doesn’t cut it.
IMPEACH BUSH AND HIS WHOLE DAMN ADMINISTRATION

Just curious as to how that is going to solve anything. Also curious as to what specifically it was that Bush could have done differently that would have changed your mind–other than somehow stop being George W. Bush.

I have NO Idea why you think this.
As a Brit watching the unfortunate events unfold in NO, and other such southern towns, I was of course brought to tears at the aftermath.
Why the hell blame Bush ? .. why NOT impeach God the almighty? , surely it was His fault ?

Obviously you need to point fingers, lets say we blame the Dali Lama for the Tsunami on Boxing Day.

    Get real !!

Thanks Dom I wasn’t really in the mood to answer this after answering another comment in another post

But never one to shut up:
where was he at first? What was he doing? Why didn’t he seize FeMA from Brown immediately?

I have many more questions but do you really think Condi Rice should have been in Manhattan seeing a Broadway play on wednesday? I fixate on that one because I saw a Broadway play on Tuesday and couldn’t focus

Also in Britain, I have a slightly different view to Dom but I don’t think impeaching Bush will work, largely because it will be seen as vindictive and that will muddy the waters over the real issues.

The questions you raised are more pertinent than an impeachment campaign. The latter will just give them excuses to deflect attention.

    Pia,
I am with you! I don’t want him impeached simply for this situation, but because it was the straw that broke the camels back. This is just one of many and the lies get old….the cover ups get old, the whole ordeal is old. I say impeach and it should have been done a long time ago….then lets get busy and make sure that chaos like the Katrina aftermath never happens here again. Right now, my guess is that the reason the reporters can’t get in any more is that we are not going to get an accurate body count….working on a timeline later tonight that I will post in my blog. I wanted it for the Bring it On! post, but couldn’t find all the links in time. They were tv and radio reports that had been read all week and when I went back to find them it was too time consuming.

About Me

I live in the South, not South Florida, a few blocks from the ocean, and two blocks from the main street. It's called Main Street. Amazes me too.

I'm from New York. I mostly lived in the Mid-Upper East Side, and the heart of the Upper West Side. It amazes me when people talk about how scared they were of Times Square in the 1970's and 1980's.

As my mother said: "know the streets, look out and you'll be fine."

What was scary was the invasion of the crack dens into "good buildings in good 'hoods." And the greedy landlords who did everything they could to get good tenants out of buildings.

I'm a Long Island girl, and proud of it now.
Then I hated everything about the suburbs. Yet somehow I lived in a few great Long Island Sound towns after high school.
