Just took down a post that I loved but was so not in the spirit of the season.
Blogging, and meeting so many wonderful people has been an incredible gift. But I still want diamonds.
Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah, Happy Kawanza
and keep the Festivus pole going.
There is so much more to be said but I shall save it for five embarrassing things about me.
Oh you thought that was going to be my gift to you?
During the week; Hanukkah last eight nights; and if I keep this up I might even learn to spell it. And my best friends exchange gifts on January 6, Three Kings Day.
The season is just beginning; and I like exchanging New Years greetings; if we can all agree on the same day and same holiday. Otherwise, wake me up in 2006
Not even all of us agree on New Years, you know… A few years ago I was in Korea for the Oriental New Year (about the same time as our Superbowl that year).
Have a wonderful set of holidays and even if you don’t believe in Santa, may he bring you everything you wanted and more! Blessings to you Pia.
Have a lovely holiday season Pia, you make me smile, too! x
MERRY CHRISTMAS PIA!!
(or, i should say, GOD JUL!!!)
we’re celebrating quietly adn contently, and wishing you a lovely holiday, a peaceful new year adn all the best for 2006!

Merry Christmas, Pia! It’s a busy time, indeed. I’ve missed so many wonderful posts here and other places…can’t read fast enough.
I agree that Doug’s blogs are mighty awesome. All that, and a former foster dad, too…telling stories is a luxurious art form. Just misspelled a word. You do a great job here, and I’ll be back. Happy all-holidays:)
Happy Festivus, Pia. Finally an ideology (or at least a pole) I can embrace π
Happy Hanukkah, Pia! That was a nice nod to Doug. There’s no contesting that you’ve both inspired me, and I’m happy to have made such great blogger buddies in you both. π
January 6th is Epiphany! The historic twelfth day of Christmas, when the celebrating ‘officially’ ends. Kinda like Mardi Gras, itΓ’β¬β’s the day you really party. Funny how all holidays mirror each other. That old Roman calendar still rules the world! So I hope you have a happy time, sweetie Γ’β¬β remember to light a candle just for yourself Γ’β¬β you deserve it!
Maybe for New Years we should use the more inclusive “pleasant schedule” wish. Get back to me on it.
I made it home in time for the Festivus airing of grievances. Always fun. π
Hope your holidays are jolly.
