I wrote a long and whiny post that if anybody has any desire to read, and you shouldn’t, ask me as I put it into draft.

People can be so cruel without meaning to be.

It’s a beautiful day and the Saint Patrick’s Day Parade was crowded.  But I have hopes for musical groups this afternoon.

I read the post in my reader earlier. Sometimes it’s best just to read just liek sometimes it’s best just to listen ..the only problem is with blogging no on nreally knows if you are listening unless you comment…I hope all is well and gets better as the sun starts to shine..people can be cruel even when they don’t mean to be but possible if they don’t mean to be then they are not cruel?…… Not sure.

    You deserve no cruelty.

Oh Cooper. Thanks you ray of sunshine. Which doesn’t sound quite right describing OTN Cooper but is very true.

No they didn’t mean to be cruel. I’m overly sensitive but then I think I have a right to be—though it’s better to be thick skinned

I never thought of myself as disabled and am resentful of people who assume people with NLD have no awareness of their problems. When I was a kid I was all too aware. But didn’t know what to do. I learned quickly how to cover my problems, and never should have discussed them on this blog. Life was easier that way

People’s insensitivity (Did I spell that right? Feels like it had too many i’s.) is both stunning and appalling sometimes.

Did you hear about Richard Belzer assaulting someone in the Apple Store in Manhattan? I thought of you. Not because of the assault or Richard Belzer, but just because of the Apple Store 🙂

There’s a new Apple store right near my old apartment ) Yes I did hear about that but didn’t know it was in Apple store–sacred shrine that they are

About Me

I live in the South, not South Florida, a few blocks from the ocean, and two blocks from the main street. It's called Main Street. Amazes me too.

I'm from New York. I mostly lived in the Mid-Upper East Side, and the heart of the Upper West Side. It amazes me when people talk about how scared they were of Times Square in the 1970's and 1980's.

As my mother said: "know the streets, look out and you'll be fine."

What was scary was the invasion of the crack dens into "good buildings in good 'hoods." And the greedy landlords who did everything they could to get good tenants out of buildings.

I'm a Long Island girl, and proud of it now.
Then I hated everything about the suburbs. Yet somehow I lived in a few great Long Island Sound towns after high school.
